This website acts as the front end of a volunteer management system, built to support community volunteer organisations and local authorities manage volunteers in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
At the back end, Zapier securely does its thing, allowing organisers to manage requests as they come in and coordinate volunteers.
The system uses WordPress, Google Sheets and Maps, Gravity Forms, Gravity Perks, Zapier – automating what can be automated, which ensure that the focus can be on our community response.
Matthew is a data protection specialist and website developer.
His motivation to build this website was to protect the personal information that would otherwise have been shared widely on Facebook, or stored in published spreadsheets.
